LO: I can identify features of living and non living things
Today we explored our learning from last lesson, building on our understanding of living and non-living things. We built on our scientific vocabulary, and used new words such as: breathe, grow, change, excrete (get rid of waste) to describe living things. We also considered the differences between things that were alive, but are now dead, and those that had never been alive.
We observed and identified things that had been alive, as generally brown and dry looking, as opposed to things that had never been alive, which were usually man-made, like plastic and concrete.
