LO: I can identify food chains in our local habitat
Today we revisited our new nature area in our front garden. Together, we identified a range of microhabitats, strengthening our knowledge of this. We also worked together to identify:
Producers (Plants): such as grass, flowers, trees
Consumers (prey/herbivores): such as worms, woodlice, snails, rabbits
Consumers (predators/carnivores): such as most beetles, dragonflies, foxes,
We then used this knowledge to build a simple food chain, found in our nature garden.
