LO: I can identify and classify animals based on their diet
Today we grouped and classified a range of animals into carnivore, herbivore and omnivore, based on their diet. We learned that:
- herbivores – eat plants, and no meat.
- carnivores – eat meat.
- omnivores – eat all food types, including meat and plants.
We learnt how to use a Venn diagram to classify, which we found quite difficult, but useful once we got the hang of it!
